Wire rope flaw detection with INTROS equipment

KazExpertProm LLP has innovative equipment for measuring the wear of steel wire ropes — the INTROS flaw detector, designed for non-destructive testing of ropes of any design made of ferromagnetic steel wire, both during their production and in service. The INTROS flaw detector simultaneously measures the relative loss of metallic cross-sectional area of the rope and detects external and internal local defects, such as broken wires and strands, corrosion spots and wire welding points.

Scope of application: the INTROS flaw detector is used at mines, in shafts, lifts, on cranes, ropeways, bridges, high-voltage power transmission lines, antenna masts, flare units, building structures and other facilities where steel wire ropes are used.
